Meet Ryan J Davis, DMD, MS

Ryan J. Davis, DMD MS is a nationally board-certified Periodontist. He has been practicing since 2010 seeing patients in his Peoria office. He grew up in Dunlap & found his passion for dentistry through his father, retired dentist, Dr. James Davis.

Dr. Davis, while participating on the Men’s swim team and working at Dental Arts Lab, graduated from Bradley University in 2003 with a degree in Cellular & Molecular Biology. In 2007 he graduated from Southern Illinois Universities Dental School with his Doctorate before becoming an Alumni of St. Louis University where he completed his Residency in Periodontics Specialty in 2010.

Dr. Davis is an instructor for Illinois Central College Dental Hygiene Program and is an Attending Dentist for the Dental Residents at OSF GPR Dental Residency Program. Among his accolades he’s also a member of PDDS, ISDS & ADA.

In his spare time, he participates in hockey, swimming, running, triathlons (completed two Ironman races) and several marathons around the world. He & his wife Amanda are avid concert attendees, enjoy traveling and are self-proclaimed foodies adventuring to find the most interesting restaurants. They enjoy spending time with their dog Ellie and being the Cool Uncle to his nieces & nephew.
